I accidentally worked on a presidential campaign

because of a tweet

Sup nerds.

OK, so you remember how I started that new street interview biz?

Most of the customers so far have been startups…. but one $2,400 deal was for a presidential candidate. This is the same candidate who did a Twitter space last week with Elon and Bill Ackman 🤯

This is the story of how a tweet led me to accidentally working for a presidential candidate (I’ll reveal more below).

I recently realized how much social media strategy and political strategy overlap—especially in election years like 2024.

That’s why I’m taking the risk to write about politics.

Once per month, I’ll send you a piece like this about political social media strategy covering stories from my life, lessons we can use from politicians’ media strategies throughout history, and interviews with political strategists working for some of the biggest names in politics.

THESE PIECES WILL ONLY BE FOR PAID SUBSCRIBERS.

THEY WILL BE TOO DANGEROUS TO POST PUBLIC.

My Premium newsletter is built for strategists who would’ve been military Generals conquering countries 2,000 years ago—except instead of conquering nations, now we’re conquering the internet.
