I interviewed a TV writer

How to break into Hollywood

Sup nerds

Since I was a teenager, I’ve wanted to write a TV show or movie.

I’ve even written some scripts and screenplays, but there was 1 problem.

I never knew how to break into Hollywood.

Thankfully, Twitter has gotten me 1 step closer.

Thanks to sending a cold DM on Twitter, I got the chance to interview Niles Abston, a Staff Writer on FXX’s hit TV show Dave.

I asked Niles how he used social media to break into Hollywood, tips for comedy writing, and what he learned working for Dave Burd (aka Lil Dicky) and Jeff Schaffer (producer of Dave, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The League, and more)

JASON: So how did you land a job writing on a hit TV show?
